Architectural students in an Estonian forest designed three cone-shaped megaphones made entirely of wood. They are used as sound amplifiers to better understand nature and they also serve as places for recreation. In order to maximise the communion with nature, they installed their creations in a clearing, next to the Pähni Nature Center . This space has been transformed into a place of meditation, relaxation and community involvement, thanks to the three giant cones. Entitled “Ruup”, these megaphones measuring 3 meters in diameter, offer enough room to sit, lie down, read and rest. They can also serve as shelter for campers passing by, but also for outdoor courses, small cultural events and concerts.
